Identify Your Top Three - Weekly Start/Stop

Welcome to the Weekly Start/Stop

A weekly reminder to focus on your top priorities. Was this sent to you? Subscribe here so you don't miss the next one.

This Week's Start: Identify Your Top Three

If you want to accomplish anything big, start by taking small steps today.

Take five minutes and list out the three tasks you absolutely need to get done today on a sticky note.

Put this note somewhere highly visible as a reminder throughout the day.

Bonus Points: Make this a habit and do it every day. I do this every morning from 8:35-8:40.

This Week's Stop: Stop Running "Awareness" Campaigns

This is really specific, but unless you're in a Fortune 500 company, "awareness" ad campaigns are usually a waste of money.

Stop spending ad dollars if you aren't getting phone numbers or email addresses with them.

"Brand exposure" is good, but it's not worth paying for. Use your connections and resources to do free awareness campaigns if you feel like you absolutely need to do them.

Until Next Week...

Focus on your most important tasks and ignore everything else... Because the future belongs to efficient marketers.
